Looking For A Chic Brasserie In Paris?12.26.15
I already mentioned the Bristol Paris and some of their events but I think I never dedicated one of my articles to its restaurant… 114 Faubourg is part of the restaurants I love to go to when I am in Paris.
Awarded a Michelin star in 2013, 114 Faubourg is a chic brasserie spread over two floors. Its decor is warm and impressive. A wrought iron and marble staircase joins its duplex space as well as gilded columns. Floral prints are all over the walls and the floor is purple. This interior design brings intimacy to 114 Faubourg. My spot at this brasserie is on the the first floor. They have an open plan kitchen and it’s just quite special to watch Chef Jean-Charles Cauquil and his team working.
The Chef creates tasty dishes from the brasserie classics according to the seasons. He reinvents them by adding a sophisticated and original touch. You have to try the Caramel 1000 feuilles, always on the menu it’s so special and delicious!
