Burberry Capes Event

Introduced in the 1880s, the Burberry cape has remained as a symbol of protection and an essential piece to the brand’s everlasting collection. Introduced and presented to the public during the February runway show in London, Burberry’s new couture cape collection consists of 78 individual styles.

We discovered the unique collection at  Burberry’s exhibit through Moda Operandi on Madison Avenue where we were able to try on the various capes. Along with other women, we explored the curated edit of the limited edition collection, and were in awe with each and every detail that goes into crafting the capes. Henry Moore, the late English sculptor, was the primary inspiration for this collection, with unique scaling and form of his sculptures and constructions which inspired Burberry to do the same for each cape.

Each cape is specially ordered and made to every client’s desire and preference.
