Chic Intimacy at La Reserve Paris Hotel & Spa02.10.16
Last week,I stayed at La Réserve Paris Hotel & Spa.
This property, a Haussmann-style urban mansion, is stunning! Highly intimate and charming, this hotel gives a breath of fresh air to the former residence of Pierre Cardin. Jacques Garcia has kept the legacy of French culture and added his modern touch. The huge indoor spaces remind me of an early 19th century Haussmannian apartment. The marble fireplaces, the fabrics, the furniture… All the details have been designed to bring elegance and refinement to this property. Staying at La Réserve is experiencing the Parisian chic by excellence. It’s a gem!
Close to the Place de la Concorde, this hotel offers us also the best views of Paris’ finest places and landmarks. You can even take your breakfast facing the Grand Palais. Speaking of it, you absolutely have to try the “bien-être” breakfast in the morning. I fell in love with the gluten free pain perdu and the ginger lemon apple infusion. With their ultra-personalized service, I felt at home even if far from my family. Each room is full of candies and delicious French pastries, the attention is really sweet.
La Réserve Paris, is also a restaurant, Le Gabriel which dedicates its dishes to the French contemporary cuisine. With worldwide inspirations, Le Gabriel brings a new touch to our famous classics.
To enjoy a relaxing and rejuvenating time in the craziness of Paris, they also have a spa in partnership with Nescens – Swiss Anti-aging Science brand and a 16-meter indoor pool, rare in Paris. And because reading is also a relaxing activity, La Reserve Paris has a library exclusively dedicated to the hotel’s guests. I did all my meetings in the library, the ambiance is just unique. I am pretty sure Agatha Christie left her secret notebooks somewhere 🙂
Finally, for those who want to call La réserve home, there are apartments available in the same spirit. As a lover of unique and personalized experiences, I am glad to know that Michel Reybier’s La Reserve is also present in Ramatuelle and Geneva.
